Terms of Use

Last updated 22 August 2026.

1. These terms

These terms govern your use of blaecwood.com, operated by Blaecwood from Toronto, Canada. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

2. What this site is, and is not

The content on this site is general information about our services. It is not security, compliance, legal or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice on your specific circumstances. Reading the site, or booking a call through it, does not create a client relationship or an engagement. An engagement exists only when both parties have signed an engagement agreement, and that agreement, not this site, governs its terms.

3. No outcome commitments

Descriptions of our services on this site are summaries, not commitments. Audit outcomes, report contents and certification decisions rest with independent auditors and certification bodies, and nothing on this site promises any particular outcome or timeline.

4. Booking

Bookings made through the site are handled by our scheduling provider under its own terms and privacy practices. How we handle the personal information involved is described in our Privacy Notice.

5. Intellectual property

The content of this site, including its text, design and the BLAECWOOD name and wordmark, belongs to Blaecwood or its licensors. You may view the site and share links to it. You may not reproduce its content for commercial purposes, or present it as your own, without our written permission.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the site in a way that interferes with its operation or security, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system connected to it, or use it to transmit anything unlawful or malicious.

7. Third-party services

The site links to and loads services operated by third parties, including our scheduling provider and a font service. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

8. Liability

The site is provided as is and as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on the site's content or from interruption or unavailability of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Changes

We may update the site and these terms. The date at the top is the date of the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, and the courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.

11. Contact
